A number can be routed to Flows, Extensions, Fax, or a Contact.

911 Emergency Calling

To enable 911 click the number and then click "Emergency 911" and complete the address details (use the legal name of your business).

Warning — This is the address emergency services will see when you place the call. Note —911 emergency dialing is disabled by default.

Collection (Music + Advertising on Hold)

Every number can have a custom, unique on-hold experience.

Hint — We highly recommend using music on hold to advertise your products and services, it's essentially free.

Messaging

Enable to send and receive messages for number.

Impersonate

When enabled and with appropriate Permissions, a user can make calls from this number as well as their assigned number.

Messaging Options

Auto Reply — Enter a message to automatically reply to any text messages to this number.
Missed Calls — Enter a message to send to callers from which a call was not answered.

Hint — The use of emojis and humor in messages has proven to increase engagement.

Fax

To enable electronic faxing simply route any number to "Fax". Any received faxes will be emailed as a PDF attachment to the selected users — Learn More

Fax Detection

Attempts to detect an incoming fax on this number and if detected, switch to receiving the fax allowing for one number for voice, messaging, and faxing!

Note — In some cases the call may be answered before the fax machine is detected, at which point the call will seemingly drop so the fax can be received.

Forwarding Numbers

To forward a number, select a Contact from the list of available destinations and click "Save".
